The Waterwheel agent is distributed as a pre-built Docker image ("the Software"). By downloading or using the Software, you agree to the following terms:

1. Grant of Use Duotail grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free right to download and use the Software for personal or commercial purposes, free of charge.

2. Restrictions You may not:

  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Software or any modified version of it without prior written permission from Duotail.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Software.
  • Remove or alter any copyright notices or branding contained within the Software.
  • Use the Software in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

3. No Source Code The Software is distributed in binary form only. No source code is provided or implied by this license. This license does not grant any rights to source code.

4. No Warranty THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. DUOTAIL MAKES NO GUARANTEE REGARDING THE SOFTWARE'S RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, OR SUITABILITY FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

5. Limitation of Liability TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DUOTAIL OR ITS AUTHORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING DATA LOSS, SERVICE DISRUPTION, SECURITY INCIDENTS, OR THIRD-PARTY CHARGES INCURRED THROUGH USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

6. Third-Party Services The Software interacts with third-party AI providers and external websites on your behalf. You are solely responsible for compliance with the terms of service of any third-party platform accessed through the Software, and for any charges or consequences arising from such use.

7. Termination Duotail reserves the right to revoke this license at any time if you breach any of these terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use and delete all copies of the Software in your possession.

8. Governing Law This license shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Duotail operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Disclaimer​

By downloading and using the Waterwheel agent Docker image, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Use at your own risk. The software is provided without warranty of any kind. Duotail makes no guarantees regarding its fitness for any particular purpose, reliability, or continued availability.

  2. No liability for damages. Duotail is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the software, including but not limited to data loss, service disruption, security incidents, or unintended automated actions performed by the agent.

  3. Third-party API charges. The agent makes API calls to third-party AI providers on your behalf. You are solely responsible for any charges, rate limit violations, or terms-of-service breaches incurred through your use of those services.

  4. Third-party tools. The agent interacts with external websites and services through browser automation. You are responsible for ensuring its use complies with the terms of service of any website or platform it accesses.

  5. Configuration responsibility. It is your responsibility to configure the agent appropriately for your environment, including access permissions, allowed domains, and API credentials.
